Our mission at Missouri City Christian Church is Seeking, Loving, Accepting, & Serving.

​

We are biblically focused.  Our sermons study the meaning of each week's scripture from a historical perspective designed to teach us what God's word means to our busy, modern lives.

We serve our community both locally and throughout the Kansas City Metropolitan area.  Our small country church provides big service to our community and Kansas City's urban core.

Our service touches lives at Lazarus Ministry, through Samaritan's Purse, stocking a local Food Pantry, and many other activities throughout the year.

At Lazarus Ministry of Kansas City we donate our time, money, and supplies for their soup kitchen, clothing boutique, food pantry, and free medical care. Our church serves quarterly and one of our members serves on the Lazarus Board of Directors and volunteers at Lazarus throughout the week.

Our congregations provides shoeboxes supporting Samaritan Purse each Christmas sending needed gifts to children across the world.  Locally, we host Trunk-or-Treat each Halloween for the children in our small town and the communities around us.

We have Lenten Bread & Broth on Wednesday to prepare us for Christ's journey to the cross and his triumphal defeat of death on Easter day.  Our Easter Egg hunt is always a big hit with the kids!

Each December our Small Mall as our most popular community service all year long.  We invite families to bring their children to shop (for free) for family member Christmas gifts, children do crafts while awaiting their turn, and parents in need can take advantage of our food pantry.

​

Our church stocks the city's food panty in the US Post Office to serve many families in need in this small rural community and those communities around us.

​

That's just a few examples of how we show God's love by giving our time and serving others.  Join us for one of our community service events or come on Sunday morning to hear how God works in our lives and how we can work for God!

Our Values

We are compassionate, inclusive and strive to walk with Jesus in our daily lives. Through gospel, service, worship and missions, we bring God closer to our hearts and closer to the hearts of those around us. As a fellowship of believers, we have the honor of proclaiming the glory of Christ to one another in a loving and caring setting.

Our congregation is fueled by a firm belief in the teachings of our Lord, and when we are together under the holy spirit of God — we become one.
